Finally, my 600D arrived! This marks a new phase in my life. I am going to be addicted to this toy and spend an absolutely insane amount of time on it! Playing around with it this afternoon, Mr Darcy (my partner in crime and wondrous four-legged friend) agreed to an impromptu photoshoot. Isn't he the greatest model in the world? He has mastered the art of remaining perfectly still while a big black thing clicks at him. Well trained.
Some of you might think 'why the heck would she get the 600D when the 650D comes out in a a few weeks', well, I bought the 600D because it's much cheaper and pretty much the same. Yes, the speed increased a little bit and they put a touch-screen on it, but it's just not incentive enough for me to pay the price of a 60D for something that is less. I'm pretty happy with the 600D, I initially decided on the 60D but changed my mind later because it's too heavy for me. Plus that click button wheel thing is really annoying. Yay to my first DSLR!
