Carven Pre-Fall 2013

This is a late post for pre-fall collections, I know. But in my defence, Australian seasons are always behind (or ahead, depends on what your measuring factor is). Winter hit Sydney this year like a spit ball, a complete surprise. God was probably pulling a practical joke: "hey Sydney, here's some intense heat, here's some rain...and HERE IS ICY COLD WINTER! Surprise!"

I'm sure there's better things to do than whinge about the weather, so I might stop.

This post is dedicated to my love for French tailoring. It makes me drool so much. No other country spends that much time making garments. Carven is a stand-out for me in terms of winter fashion. I love the 'school girl-esque' innocence behind the designs and patterns, and I love how they occasionally surprise with a dose of 'naughty school girl', aka, metallic leather!
