Review: Maybelline Brow Drama

Every Youtuber/blogger and their mother has tried this product. As a latecomer to the game I succumbed to the full-brow females on Maybelline ads whilst browsing the Priceline 40% off makeup sale a while ago. Funnily enough, I heard a girl in the makeup section say to her friend “remind me to get one of those brow mascara things from Maybelline” – and to this I bolted to the Maybelline section, snatched the very last one and walked past her smiling. She was still working her way up the Sally Hansen polishes. And because I am a sadist, I lingered around until she realised her dreams of lusciously combed brows were shattered. There’s nothing more satisfying than grabbing the last one!

Clinique Gets Chubbier

Despite some drama with Clinique's couter ladies,  I can say that I am still a devout fan of this brand. I respect Clinique for not relying on the authority of a celebrity ambassador, but rather, the actual promises of their products. I am yet to find a better foundation than Clinique's Even Better.

Clinique's Chubby Sticks were a big hit last year so this June, they are widening the horizons of chubby and releasing Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes!

These are little creamy shadow sticks with a lot of love in them. The colours are spot-on-trend and provide a sheer all-day pigment. A range of twelve colours include Bountiful Beige, Lots O'Latte, Fuller Fudge, Ample Amber, Whopping Willow, Mighty Moss, Pink & Plenty, Curvaceous Coal, Lavish Lilac, Big Blue, Portly Plum and Missive Midnight.

Yes, the product development team loves alliteration.

Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes will be available in Australia 30th June.
